After much work alongside local councillors, council officers and the likes of Cash Access UK and LINK - I was delighted to attend and speak at the official opening of the Watton Banking Hub which is based at 56 High Street.

The Hub offers a counter service operated by the Post Office where customers of major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

It will also offer a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on the day their bank is in the Hub.

The Community Bankers are available on the following days:
* Monday: Halifax
* Tuesday: NatWest
* Wednesday: HSBC
* Thursday: Lloyds
* Friday: Barclays
