I was delighted to visit The Lighthouse Centre in Attleborough this past Friday to learn more about the fantastic work that is taking place there.

I was pleased to catch up with Carolyn and Mike from the aboutDereham Partnership this past Friday to learn more about their work to champion good causes in Dereham.

I was delighted to meet up with Ashley Bunn, Dereham Town FC chair, last week to catch up on how their star Ashton Fox is doing at Peterborough United and have a general chat about the club.

Rural communities need active community pubs, shops and local housing schemes and that’s why I have long praised Mid Norfolk for already having a wonderful track record of leading the way in this regard.

I was delighted to join the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, as well as local councillors Helen Crane and Claire Bowes, at last week’s official opening of the new Community Hub on the Blenheim Grange estate.

I am pleased to raise the profile of Crib (Caring Relatives in Bereavement) – a wonderful support group organised by the Love Dereham charity, who seek to catalyse community action, foster cooperation, support those in need and show love to the people of Dereham.
